I took the plunge

I vowed I wouldn't order garden seeds....but I did yesterday.

I ordered three varieties of tomatoes from Totally Tomatoes and even though I bad mouth them regularly, I ordered some things from Park Seed (remind me to shut up if I complain about the seeds again this year).

I got some on sale from Park:

Early Summer Crookneck Squash

Munstead Lavender (I had a container of these up last year when Sugar took them from the porch to toss around)

Pacifica White Hybrid Vinca (favorite annual edger)

Ambrosia Hybrid Cord Seeds (don't think I've tried this one)

Amadeo Eggplant (never used supposed to be bitter-free)

Park's Pick Mix Zinnia (someday I will find a gallon of seeds
since I know I have bought them every year but haven't planted any for a long time)

PowWow Wild Berry Cone flower (my cone flower has almost disappeared so I need to start again)

The seeds were reasonably price but the shipping is annoyingly high $6.95. I tell myself that the gas to town and back would cost as much and I wouldn't find what I wanted anyway.

Totally Tomatoes:

Original Goliath Hybrid Tomato (someone told me this is a great tomato)

Kellogs Breakfast (never tried before)

Viva Italia Hybrid (best plum type I have used)

I hate that some are hybrids but so be it.

Stay inside today! The wind is ferocious.
