The cold arrived with the rain.....

RE: Winter Beauty

You should see my windchimes that hang on the corner of the house. We barely missed a bad ice storm. If the temperature had dropped a little earlier we would have been in trouble.

RE: Winter Beauty

Your nandina is so bright and pretty. I have to admit, I enjoyed the ice a little bit this time. Not sure whether the roads were slick. If so, I didn't have to get out and try to drive on it. It looked like Christmas lights when the sun came out and and lit up the ice on the trees.

RE: Winter Beauty

Thank you for the pictures Glenda. Nandina is unappreciated I think. It is one of the few things looking good in winter when the red leaves and berries are a welcome bright spot.

It was pretty when the sun shone on the ice in the trees. It is good to appreciate all about the seasons. The ice made me miss church so I wasn't too happy about it.

Today's weather is surprisingly nice. I should get a big pile of wood by the door because it is nice enough to work outside today. I love this new editing thing because I can't spell.
