I have seen them in Walmarts in West Plains and Mtn. Grove, and I believe in Lowes. Packages, like flower bulbs. I dont remember the variety.

I think I bought bagged asparagus the male kind at Wal-Mart last spring. They sold them early and I saved them in my basement until spring. Also local nurseries usually have them but I think those were Martha Washington not the male ones.

christie, check with Hummerts. They carry lots of things like that in early spring. Also the local nursery Dorothy's Digs will probably have some. Her prices are always good.

Thanks - I will wait then. I don't want very many so it's more expensive to order. I'd rather find some locally.
