It may be the obvious answer, but have you checked at Baker Creek?

I did and they didn't have anything that seemed specific to the Ozarks. I finally ordered from Southern Exposure Seed Exchange. I got a variety called Reid's yellow dent. I know Mom and Dad grew a yellow Hickory Cane and will try it down the road.

Neither of the corns you mentioned is specific to the Ozarks.

I should add they are both fine corns and will serve you well.

Well, they were specific enough that I know my folks and grandparents grew them way back during the 30's and forward. I guess I didn't mean something developed here, just something that I knew would grow well. Lots of the Indian corns came from the southwest or Florida region and I know that isn't like our conditions.
