Donna, I would give it a try. When we were first married I grew plants on a glassed in porch in the south window. They did fine. Now I am just talking about getting them to a good size to plant outside. If you wanted to grow them to bloom size, you might need more light.
As to Ceresone, William, way back she told us that here husband was going to require much more of her care and she was putting gardening and all that follows on the back burner.
Oh, I stop by once in a great while-thanks for thinking of me, Friends. In the midst of everything else, lightening struck our transformer--did you know all the lightening protection in the world on your computer dont cover this?? You guessed it--so, temp. I'm on a borrowed one even older than mine. I'm jumping back into gardening with both feet this year--have to have the outlet. (Dont think trees in the woods like to be screamed at--LOL) And, yes, I like Fortex, but I want to try Glendas bean this year too. William, I have a lot of new tomatoes to try from trades this year--never heard of some. Dont have my raised beds done--maybe next year--only 4 now in production.
Ceresone, glad to see you back. I have been told nothing protects you from a direct hit of lightening in the house, just having the system unplugged is all that is safe.
It's good to hear you haven't given up gardening Ceresone and good to see you post. Sorry about your computer troubles. Please join in more often if you can.
