| Check out Arborday.org, they have a neat hazelnut project we can participate in. I planted some in December and have more ordered for this spring. |

| I love hazelnuts. I planted a few seedlings from our department of conservation. I only planted one in our yard and the rest were along an old fence row. I'm not sure the ones in the fence row are still alive but the one in our yard had some nuts on it this year. I was a bit surprised how small they were after I shelled them out - about the size of a pea. Wish they were bigger but they tasted good. |
