RE: Bird Invasion

Are you sure they aren't starlings? Maybe they ate some bugs for you and fertilized your grass. I wonder what the animals think of the drastic changes in our weather.

RE: Bird Invasion

I am never sure which is which. I don't like either of them.
I don't think they were on the ground long enough to eat.....poop yes.

RE: Bird Invasion

I don't mind any kind of bird except big groups of them that stay in one area make a mess. Pigeons or Rock Doves roost on a metal track for an old hay fork in the barn on my parents' old place. Anything stored in there is covered in bird poo and I feel like it might cause disease.

RE: Bird Invasion

It's a bit intimidating to see so many in one place. Reminds me of a movie. lol
I put out extra bird seed yesterday today since it's been colder and snowing a little. Gizmo has been trying so hard to catch a bird. He's been in the house watching them through the window at the feeder so he's not having any luck. He jumps against the window every few minutes. It's funny.
