We need to get a quarter acre plot of dirt covered in grass as soon as possible. It's our dog play yard. We have two Afghan Hounds who love to run and play. I'm finding it impossible to stay ahead of the dust, dirt and mud. I don't really care what kind of grass we plant there, as long as it grows fast, is durable and green.

We may have to sod a small area at the bottom of their run where they exit and enter the house through their own dog door but I have to seed the rest as I can't afford to sod it all.

I'd sure welcome suggestions!!
