I am helping my daughter landscape their property near LR, and we are looking for seedling evergreen trees that will grow well in that region. Any sources or species information welcome!

I don't know where LR is. If you are a resident of MO you can order from the Dept. of Conservation. This has been available since Nov. so I don't know if they still have anything. In my experience, white pine has lived longer without problems in my spot in SW MO. I see native pine south of here and none grow here. Your soil affects what you can grow. Some pines start out fine but get borers or something so you need to research it.

LR = Little Rock? The large evergreen trees native to the area that come to mind are one of the types of yellow pine and magnolia grandiflora. Medium trees would be holly and eastern red cedar. Though not native, I have also seen white pines, hemlock, and Chinese fir in the area. Nurseries offer additional possibilities, but I can't say how they would adapt to climate and soil.
