Coleus anyone?

Beside feeding the birds, the other activity that helps me get through the winter is growing coleus cuttings. Anyone else enjoy this?

RE: Coleus anyone?

No and I wish I had kept cuttings. I started some beauties from seeds a couple of years ago, the Wizard series (I think), but I let them go after two years. I am getting very interested in them again.

Yours are beauties. I bet it keeps you busy pinching them.

Mine are in tubs on the window sill. It is almost time to take new cuttings. I don't look at mine until it gets warmer. My basement is cool.

That would look very summery if it weren't for the snow in the background. : )
I love coleus. All my shady areas are so dry though. Does it require a lot of water in the summer?

RE: Coleus anyone?

Yes, coleus want a lot of water. Especially when in containers.
