Hi Kat, Im trying to remember some of the things we planted. We always tried to save seeds and always liked the taste of heirlooms better. I decided that heirlooms from the Mediterrainian seemed to do best for me. I liked Stupice tomato from Czeck. Tomatoes ripened early and took the hot summer and always had green tomatoes at frost. Straight 8 cukes were good,Star of David okra. Sugarbaby watermelon (small watermelon)Hales Best cantelope. Thats about all i can remember.If i think of any more i'll let you know.

deaf blossom I have read that tomatoes will usually self pollinate but if you want to be sure put a bag made of tulle or a fine net around the blossom and mark it to save. Usually that is not necessary with tomatoes. I don't know about other vegetables.
