Glenda that is a toady poo. Did you apologize for digging it up in baby talk and move it to a safer place? Soon they will be making a racket at my little pond. Thanks for the picture.

Helen, he was uninjured and I covered him up again.

BTW, I have heard the peepers two days in a row around 4 PM.
Great sound.

He looks sleepy-eyed, like he's saying "Is it spring ALREADY??"

I have one that sits by my back door at night all summer. He occasionally gets bounced around by the dogs swarming out that door but maintains his position in spite of it. I'll get some picks of him this year.
