Looking for a few horseraddish roots for planting if anyone out there has any. Would be willing to trade some japanese red maple seeds. My first job as a kid was working on a horseraddish farm in southern Illinois. Would like to grow some just for ole times sake. E-mail me if easier at fiddlerfurd@yahoo.com

Wish I could help you. But we left ours behind when we moved to Oklahoma. You might see if the produce dept. of your local grocery store carries the root. That's how I got my start. Good luck! George

Fiddlerfurd, I bought a one gallon horse radish root from our local nursery Purple Sage Garden Center in Rio Rancho, NM. I am not sure they do mail order; their phone number is 505-891-2600 or e-mail them at purplesagegc@qwest.net
