Helen, the plants look good and healthy. If you plant them where they can self-seed you should have them forever.
I need to start peppers quickly. So far, I am not seeing any petunias....or any other self-seeded things. Probably it would help if I would clean off all the beds now!
Glenda I did this last year too. You sent me seeds last year or the year before a generous amount and just a pinch is a million. I dumped all of what was left from what you sent and they were too thick so I keep dividing them. Even at that there are tiny ones that got crowded but I think I will have plenty and some for my neighbors and the whole county.
