I'm keeping my fingers crossed just in case.

It's getting a bit dry here. I could tell by the big cloud of dust when I was mowing yesterday.

Dry and too warm here too. Need rain and cooler temps for the broccoli I planted Monday.

Well the 11-16 wasn't very accurate! We just got sprinkles yesterday eve and it evaporated on contact. I plated broccoli Thursday lol. We are getting slightly cooler temps(nightly that is) but need some rain dag nam it lol.

I never feel safe here (garden-wise) till after May 10, years ago, we had a freeze on the 12th.

I can remember getting a foot of snow the second week of May about 15 years ago. I was plowing snow all the way to work in an old camaro z28. The ground effects on that thing acted somewhat like a plow.
Thank God we are finally getting some rain here. I don't know how long it's been raining but the ground is wet on top anyway.

I started watering this week; I have had to do that in several years. I will do some more today. The rain we got was not measurable.

We have a patio table on the deck, covered in pollen--there was a raindrop--over there was another....

We sure didn't get much. My rain bucket only had about an oz. in it. I'm going to have to buy some distilled water for my carnivores.
