This is a weeping redbud in my front yard.

Weeping redbuds (Covey) have 2 season interest. In the spring they have beautiful flowers. In winter, they have a very interesting branching structure. But don't plant anything under them. In summer the branches cascade to the ground and smother anything underneath them.

It is a beauty! My native redbud has just come into bloom plus a young seedling I planted a couple of years ago has its first bloom. I am a proud mother!
