Chef's Garden to Table Series

Cook from Your Garden: Get Seasonal in Your Kitchen

This is not your average cooking class.

Gain an enhanced understanding of how to harvest, store and cook seasonally from the garden.

Whether the ingredients are from your backyard, a farmer's market, or local farm, you'll become more confident in your kitchen.

Each class focuses on four seasonal fruits and vegetables, plus a mystery ingredient. Discover the secrets to harvest at the peak of ripeness, preparation techniques, and storage to get the best taste from your fresh vegetables.

Learn from our classically French trained chef who has worked in upscale restaurants across the country cooking locally grown, seasonal produce.

Location: TheBotanicalCenter, Main Meeting Room, west

2400 S Scenic Ave, Springfield, MO

When the weather is nice, we'll meet in the Kitchen Garden in the Master Gardener Demonstration Gardens north of the Center.

Time: 6:00 p.m.

Cost: $15/person per class.

Space is limited.
