Nice Helen! Is the bottom photo a red buckeye? Mine is starting to bloom too but the flowers seem like a duller red than yours.

Yes it is Red Buckeye and I am glad it is OK. It was covered by a grape vine and I don't think I watered it much in the drought. It attracts hummingbirds. The dogwoods starting to open bracts, blueberries blooming and black violas: photo April28-302013076_zpse31df1c6.jpg photo April28-302013038_zpsf33139c8.jpg

I think you have more things blooming than I do.
I have a new camera. : ) I'm still learning how to use it and still need to figure out how to get the pics on my computer. I took a few flower photos in my yard, nothing exciting, mostly wanted to try it out. I'll post some photos soon hopefully.

I have lots blooming but it is wild here already - weeds and vines growing faster than I can remove them. The winter weeds are easy to pull but I have so many. Pretty soon the Bermuda will be growing. They are saying on OK forum it may be cold again next week. I think my old cheaper camera took better pictures than this one.

I would like to see your pictures and please include some puppy photos.
