He welds things for old cars he restores for a hobby; he used to make stained glass windows also a hobby.

He did a nice job. I like the yellow pansy looking one the best.

And I will have to get my stakes in action. Two little hostas planted yesterday and dug up today (dogs in search of cool).

Helen, that just makes me crazy...that is what our dog does. I must not really be a pet person. You seem so mild and relaxed about it....I get so mad!

It was predicable that they would lay in the nice cleared damp earth with two little hostas. I should have put something there to protect them. That wasn't the worst thing they did. When I weed and get close to the ground, they are come to lick me in the face. I was talking to the cat who was also helping and Beau somehow tripped me and I fell. He was following close and I didn't know he was there. I fell on my hip so there was lots of padding but it still hurts.

Are you sure you're ok Helen? The older we get, the more it hurts when we fall. Last time I fell down the back steps, I felt like I'd been in a car wreck.
