My amaryllis survived

I meant to dig up my amaryllis last fall and completely forgot about it until I spotted it when I was pulling weeds this afternoon. Nice surprise. Thanks to our mild winter.
I have a few buds on the "annual" dianthus that I planted last year too.
It makes weeding a little more enjoyable to find plants that I had forgotten or was not expecting to return.

Funny, I lost more plants and shrubs and trees last winter than ever before!

I am glad you had two survivors and hope you find many more.

I'm still waiting on some things to come up and it's funny how I find things that I had forgotten about. If they didn't return, I might not ever miss them. My memory isn't as good as it used to be or maybe I just have too many plants.

I hear you, Christie. I forget all that should be coming up, too, if I didn't find a plant tag and no plant, sometimes I wouldn't remember either. Way to many plants! Wait, I didn't really say that, did ? No no no, never happen!
