We've only gotten about a quarter of an inch but heard a couple scary pops of thunder yesterday evening. We heard them talking on the radio about softball sized hail. I hope I'm never driving down a highway in hail that size.

The Joplin weatherman said Seneca was getting hammered by hail, then the same about Neosho. He mentioned 90 mile an hour winds once and also 60 mile an hour winds and golf ball sized hail different places in the area. This morning on the news there is nothing about damage so I wonder if those winds were up high and not on the ground. If all that happened last night, there would have been talk of damage this morning. I'm glad not to hear of damage, but wondering if the drama was overblown.

What is it with all these storms! Am I the only one still trying to get things in the ground? Took today off a long time ago but I asked for a nice day.
Tried to do things on the deck and it is raining so hard I got wet!

I got wet too and cold, but who wants to do housework. I guess I'll take a nap.

Sorry your day off got ruined Ladycraft. There's a lot of rain in the forecast and it's hard to work around it. I need to do some planting too.
I think my family looks at the forecast and invites someone over on the days when the weather is nice, then I end up cleaning house and cooking instead of going outside. : (
