It does look like a mulberry because some of the leaves are lobed and some are in one piece. Mulberry sprouts grow fast so if you don't want a mulberry tree there cut it out. I happen to like the taste of my mulberry but it is too close to my house and before parts of it broke off when it was a bigger tree, the purple berries fell on my car and the concrete. Now the tree is smaller and I try to reach what berries I can to eat. The birds love the tree and I think that is why they don't eat my blueberries. You don't want a mulberry too close to your house.
