The Lilacs were a couple of weeks ago, but they were especially appreciated as the bush had been burned to the ground when we bought this place four years ago. There was nothing here when we bought it but slowly we are getting it to look like someone actually lives here.

Very nice.
Just what I needed on this cold wet day, some beautiful blooms.

I enjoyed them also. Glenda I see you like purple clematis too. Almost all mine that are blooming now are that color. Arkie62 I think I can smell that lilac.

Arkie, that lilac is beautiful....mine were such a disappointment due to the late freezes. So are the other flowers.

helen, I have 3 or 4 dark red ones too and then have ended up with 4 whites! The really purple ones haven't bloomed yet.

Arkie, those were lovely photos. I especially love lilacs and mine haven't bloomed, so I enjoyed your sending the photo.

Thanks for all the comments. I guess we are a couple of weeks further south of most of you. Batesville, AR, and a little ahead on the blooming season. We already have a few blooms on our four tomato plants. If it doesn't quit raining though we may not have anything. We've had over 5" in the past week and still coming. Oh well, this time last year everything around us was under water. Sure hope it doesn't get that bad this year.

Arkie, I remember Batesville. That is the prettiest town !
We spent a few days there and had such a good time on the your river there, I think it was the White River

Hope your rain stops soon!
