William, Is it large or small tomatoes? Hope it's small. Educate us some more. Where did the name seaman come from? I'm a romantic. It had to have been brought from one place to another by a seaman.LOL

the tomato is from the ukraine. a determinate, PL, medium to large and an olive top with purple, dusky black body. 1st yr for me. saw it in the SSE catalog and said i gotta have it. you got seeds if you want them. being from the ukraine, could have been a true seaman!

William, be sure to post pictures of these various tomatoes when the ripen and keep a record of how they do and the taste. I don't trust the hype in most catalogs.
