I just love looking at other people's gardens. Your rows are so straight, Glenda -- it's a really neat garden. When did you use the hoophouse? Is it just for spring or do you heat it over the winter? Some people don't. I think you said your elm tree knocked it down. Were you able to salvage the cover? Hope so.

Sunny, it was just the frame made from cattle panels wired together and held in place with t-posts. I used it to grow pole beans on.

When I used it for a greenhouse, It was covered with greenhouse plastic and I didn't heat it. Just used it in spring and summer.

Glenda what are the roses on the fence? I have a combo that looks a lot like that. My light pink one is New Dawn, I think (not sure as the lady who gave it to me didn't know) and the dark one is Betty Prior. That one was given to me too. I have bought and watched die at least a dozen roses over the years, some advertised as being "disease-resistant. But only the ones given to me have done well.

Your potatoes look very healthy. That is a nice garden.
