More Pictures - Flowers this time

I went out between showers to see what new was blooming and found:

This is heliopsis 'Loraine Sunshine' that I started from seeds from a Gardenweb friend. It held the variegation really well.

and a new (I thought clematis) I was called Pink something and I think it is Hagley Hybrid which I already have..........The Pink is another name for HH. Oh well,

and this is Brantwood bellflower that I grew from seeds in 2007.

Glenda I love that variegated heliopsis. I planted some heliopsis from seed this year but not the variegated type.
I planted balloon flower an a creeping bell flower in some baskets. I like the looks of the blooms. But wanted to control where they grew. Someone told me they spread quite rapidly so opted for the baskets.
You have some lovely blooms this morning.
Did your bellflower bloom the first year planted?

I don't remember about the first year, but the catalogs say it will so it probably did!

Very pretty flowers and foliage. I really that variegated leaf and no bug holes on any of them. The pink clematis is nice. It would look good climbing in an oak leaf hydrangea.
