hummingbirds chirp. i never knew this.

monarch butterflies are poisonous. i wondered why the birds weren't wiping them out during their migration this year.

you cannot till here.

nothing is flat.

kudzu is one bad plant.

chiggers have no natural enemies.

Ahhhhh, the lessons of life!

Why can't you till? Too rocky. I don't know where you live, but I have always tilled; even used the Merry Tiller to dig up large rocks, slowly over the years got rid of all the big ones. Of course, I am a believer in heavy mulch with little or not tilling anyway now.

What I have learned is to not believe the pea package, when it says plants grow to 18" and to plant double rows to support themselves.
