Does it ever have little dangly things on it like a linden? There is a name that plant forum for ones we can't guess. Also a close up of the leaves might help and any details like smell or bark texture.

I'm not good at this but I wonder if it could be some kind of serviceberry. Do the berries look anything like the ones in the photos below? I think this is the one that's native to the Ozarks but their are other species.
