It looks positively gorgeous. So far, that is the only color poppy I have....lots more plants but no more blooms yet.

I have so many weeds and junk it is almost impossible to get a photo without some of it showing.

RE: spring has sprung

Ooo pretty, Helen. Especially the poppies, reminding me of my childhood. I love poppies.

You should see ol' Muleskinner tomato plant you gave me. He doesn't know he's growing out of his big container and tower. I'll have to photograph him about middle of June.

Beautiful photos Helen!
But we don't mind a few weeds so click away.
Looks like a view of your acreage in the background. I don't know if I've ever asked you if it is mostly open or wooded. ?? Very nice to look at either way. I would love for our home to be sitting on a few more acres with woods and a creek but glad to have what we do.

RE: spring has sprung

The poppies are about done. I have pulled up the singles as they get down to not many buds left. After they bloom they look very ratty. I want to save seeds from only the doubles. I have some other poppies that are later planted in a different spot that haven't bloomed yet. photo LateMay2013010_zps7113fb21.jpg photo LateMay2013001_zps79f75c8f.jpg photo LateMay2013003_zps7c32095b.jpg
