Heard my first cricket chirping last night. Also seen the first firefly of the Season! WOW! I love the Ozarks.

I heard some crickets also. But you won't like them quite so much when just 1 gets inside. Oh say your closet and chirps all night. lol. Had that happen to me once I thought I would go mad before he found a new home.

I saw a yellow (Tiger?) Swallowtail this week going to my Homestead Purple verbena. I've seen a black swallowtails too.
I meant to check for fireflies last night after reading this post but forgot. I'll tell my kids to watch for them.
