I am betting from a bird dropping seeds....or could it have once been an old homestead? I can never get a plant to last that long but some of the older varieties can...I have been told.

I just bought two plants and temporarily put them in flower pots until I can decide where to put them. I also just made a rhubarb pie. My Iowa sis takes pity on me each year and freezes me several bags. I hope I can finally get some plants to live so she won't have to do that.
