Local place to buy concrete garden ornaments?

Does anyone know if there is a place in or near Springfield where I can buy affordable concrete garden stuff like statues? I've seen them at local nurseries, but they're really expensive there.

There's a place between Springfield and Fair Grove. I think it's somewhere off of 65, north of Springfield. Maybe someone else in the forum can be more specific...

Otherwise I recommend the local flea markets.

There is one on the south side of highway 13 north of Springfield. You must be going south and turn at the Plaster's Orchard sign.

Been a long time since I've been lucky enough to get there--but I love the one just off Hwy 13

ceresone, if you ever get up here again, call me or let me know. I am very close to highway 13 and south of the ornament place.

About how far north is the one off Hwy 13? I don't need an exact mile, just a guesstimate. Ten miles north? One mile north?

It is right at the Polk County and Greene County line. It is listed in the phone book, Ozarks Ornamental Concrete, 742-2944. I don't know the exact number of miles, maybe 10 or so. The turn is right at the Plaster Orchard sign which is the county line.

Hello! This is a late post, but I would like to let any Googlers know about Maw and Paw's Gift Shop on Hwy 165 near Fall Creek Road (heading toward Table Rock) in Branson. There is a large selection of painted and some unpainted, all sizes and all sorts of stuff from little toads to big bird fountains. They make the stuff right there. Been going there for years. Not a tourist trap. Good prices and funny people. If you like that sorta thing. :)

Thanks for bringing this up. Since it doesn't rain here anymore, I need to go for concrete stuff.

If you want to see very expensive ones go to Sandstone Gardens on I 44 near Joplin. I just go to look. Maybe you could win big at Downstream Casino and then go buy something. There is a head of a lady there I want but she is almost $100. I will always just enjoy looking. Sometimes they have broken pieces on sale cheaper.

Check out Ozark Nursery on N. Main in Joplin. They have a pretty good selection these days, and a whole lot of cute and unusual iron things as well as unusual pots and planters.

    Here's a couple of cuties.

When will she start being open on Sunday?

I bought a cat pot like those above April 19 and a reddish hellebore and other plants. The hellebore was cheaper than Lowe's but I got some at Lowe's on sale a few weeks ago. They had been damaged by the cold. I expect them to recover if I can keep them watered. It isn't raining here.
