I am thinking dianthus barbatus which are biennial. Do Google image search and see what you think. They should be fragrant. I just planted some very old seeds and they won't bloom until next year, but I love them and must start seeding every year.

I'm with Glenda. I think they are all Dianthus barbatus AKA Sweet William, which are biennial and often selfseeding. They are variable in color patterns and height. And usually fragrant. I need to get some started again, only have a couple plants this spring.

Thanks! They ARE a little fragrant. They look like they're about done flowering already. Hope not.
