Mine aren't even close to changing color. I am north of you and got them out pretty late.

I do see signs in the stores for vine-ripened Ark tomatoes.

Maybe you are just getting anxious! I know I am.

It was warm in early spring, but it turned cool just when it was time to plant tomatoes. I think they are all later because of that.

I hadn't checked my cherry tomatoes for two or three days so I was hoping to see a little color when I looked at them this morning but still just green. My parents have started supplying me with zuchinni, cucumbers, and green beans from their garden but no tomatoes yet. They're always desperate to get rid of their extras, so I don't plant any big tomatoes.

Welcome, looking east--my tomatoes are the same as yours--big, nice--and green! Think Opalaka will ripen first, looks like.

They're like a watched pot that never boils. I'm sure it always seems longer when you're waiting for the first ones to turn color.

We've eaten two tomatoes, and two cucumbers so far and picked a handful of green beans. Lots of green tomatoes, some quite large, but ripening slowly this year. Can hardly wait for the tomatoes as the two we ate were really delicious. We are quite a bit further south than most of you though so should be ahead a little bit I guess.

Red tomatoes are sneaking up on me. I don't know they are there and then I spot them as they turn color. I have eaten 2 glacier, 2 sophie's choice and picked 2 pretty pink eva purple ball tomatoes. I planted them too close together. After the cherry tomatoes start getting ripe, I might see how I like them and prune those that don't measure up. I like the size of eva purple ball small but not a cherry.
