The children an I had a wonderful surprise visitor today.

We were going back into the toy room for nap time and there he was.

He had been getting a drink from the ac condensation an just flew up onto the branch out side the window.

The picture is a little dark through the window but he is still quite handsome.

He made for a nice distraction when it is too hot to be out.

I just washed up an clay saucer that goes under one of my flower pots. I put it out for water. I feel sorry for the hawks in that tree trying to raise babies and no water since it is so hot.
I will just have to live with what ever else finds the water saucer for now.

It's almost a shock to see one up close. They look bigger don't they. You're lucky he stayed around long enough for you to get a photo. Bet the kids loved that.
