Your flowers are so pretty Glenda!
I planted garlic last fall and just pulled a couple this week. Mine are maybe a couple feet tall at the most. Yours look much taller than that in your photo. What kind did you grow? I've always used garlic from the spice section at the grocery store and I'm not used to using fresh. I wanted to try it though.

I love the mass of bloom on your rudbeckias. The pink monarda is pretty too. I don't have any tall snapdragons this year. I do have some mixed small ones. The pink ones have been pretty. I got them out of the trash at a nursery; I put up with ratty for quite a while but they came out of it.

I don't know what mine is, Christie. My sis gave me a start of hers. I pulled one this morning and they are not nearly at large as last year....no rain maybe.....a different location....who knows. I will wait until they are about 1/2 dead to pull the rest.

I just read up on how to grow garlic; I should remove the bulbils at the top. I plan to do that first thing this morning. I am going to water too but it may be too late. I won't grow them in the Cellar Bed again. It is a long way to drag a hose and I rarely water that bed or the Grass Bed.

I will keep them in the garden proper now that I have space.

I think these are rudbeckias too. They were originally from a mixed seed butterfly packet and have reseeded. They're standing up in this photo that I took a week or so ago but now some of them are laying on the ground. Do you stake yours Glenda?

I have a couple seed packets from Dollar General that are labeled "Gloriosa Daisy" but don't have a botanical name. they look similar to mine.
