They did the same thing to me.....not a very well run group, not as good as the one in FL where I came from.

They act like you should have the cops on you when you 'break' one of their 'rules', which aren't very good.

Wish I had known about the fence, they don't put a time wait limit, and I can't see it at work. Back in FL they made a time limit so that you could choose the best person to give it to.

I don't get the emails anymore, too much trouble.

Every area has it's own "interpretation" of enforcing the rules. It's good to take the time to read them slowly since sometimes it takes a while to get used to how they want it done. I used to get frustrated because it's not the way I would personally streamline it but they're still trying their best to keep things organized.

Don't give up. Consider it a learning experience, it's not personal. I have received lots of things (seedlings, bricks, fencing, landscape posts, trees, soil, tools, newspaper, and more) for my gardens and given away hundreds of nursery pots and plants via Freecycle.

Despite the moderation, I still highly recommend it, but the sooner you become accustomed to their structure, the easier it is on you.
