Is this a cucumber beetle?

Hello everyone. New here and I was looking online for a local forum to ask some questions. My cucumbers have been doing great this year despite getting a late start in planting. Big full leaves, lots of blooms and some fruit is starting to grow. Now the problem. The leaves are getting brown spots and drying up. Insert google search and wala, Cucumber beetles. So I look at the pictures and most seem to be elongated and orange. The bugs I see on my plants are red and not as long. Not round like a ladybug but somewhere in between. So before I go killing them I want to make sure Im killing the right bugs. So... are these cucumber beetles?

It could be this. Your picture doesn't look like what I call cucumber beetles. Sometimes my cucumber plants have had spider mites. They leave tiny black specks on the backs of leaves.

Definitely not cucumber beetle. They are yellow and black.

Thats what I was thinking. They are in fact a type a lady bug so... glad I didnt kill them but... That doesnt solve my problem as to my leaves. Gonna go snap some pics and hunt for ideas.

OK, so all these leaves were fine last night. Today they look like this. I need some theories as there are no signs of the beetle.

Im also suppose to get an email when someone replies but I guess that isnt working.....

I hate to send you to another forum, but post your picture on the Oklahoma forum and see if okiedawn will answer. She just gave an answer for powdery mildew on cucumbers and some recipes to try for organic sprays.
