Ozarks Gardening

Anyone in the Cadet, MO area

Hi, I checked out the threads on locations and would like to know if there is anyone in the Cadet, Mo area. Guess that is not technically in the Ozarks though. I grew up there and would love to hear from someone in that area. I now reside south of Yellville, AR. Love it here even if it is mostly rock, always have a good garden. Noticed that there are a few from this area on the forum.

I live in Park Hills, MO. Not far from Cadet. If you go by geographical area we are in the Ozarks Region of Missouri.

Hi proudgm and thanks for the posting. Am not familiar with Park Hills, we actually lived in an area referred to as Cannon Mines, but our mail came from Cadet. Of course Cannon Mines is very seldom on a map and I couldn't find Park Hills on the map that I have. A more detailed map would probably show both. Had a very good friend in grade school there that I would love to contact. It's been years though and probably not feasible. Very nice to hear from someone in that area though! Lots of wonderful memories...
