what a beautiful day!

The four o clock news guy called this a dreary day - what an idiot. I got 1.75 inches of slow rain since this morning. I have changed clothes twice because I was soaked to the skin pulling weeds in the rain. I am thinking of digging out some lettuce seeds to throw around here and there. Honey is nosing me; I am not allowed to not pay attention to him.

We always get annoyed when they moan about a rainy weekend.....usually there is no day when rain isn't welcome here.

We got another almost l inch yesterday morning along with the cooler temperatures. Makes it hard to believe it's the Ozarks in late July!

I am loving it.

I got about 1-3/4 inches. Everything looks hydrated and so does the grass, which now needs mowing. How wonderful a day of rain is -- a real gift.
