Tri-Hill or Fairway Lawns?

Posted by jodonne z7a AR (My Page) on

Has anybody in the Ft. Smith area ever used one of these lawn services? I am going to use one of them but wondered if anyone had any experience with either one.
Tri-Hill was supposed to come by Fri. to give me an estimate and a free evaluation but they never showed up. (Not a very good first impression) Fairway is supposed to be out in the next day or so. Just wondering who does a better job?!?!?!? I know some of you organic people will probally jump my rear but I was thinking I would use them for a year and get rid of the crazy amount of weeds I have now and then take it back over myself after it's back in shape. Any testimonials would be appreciated. Thanks

RE: Tri-Hill or Fairway Lawns?

I used Fairway lawns until this Spring. They did a great job of ridding the yard of weeds. After installing three veggie gardens and a huge flower border, I asked them to discontinue spraying the back yard, but continue the front. They did but barely adjusted my bill from 51.00 to 42.00, even though they were spraying 60% less yard. When I called to ask why, they became very rude. I explained that they were spraying my neighbors yard at the same time they sprayed mine (I secured my neighbors business for them), he curtly asked what that had to do with me, and that they should have charged more. Anyway, that is not the type of business I want to do business with.
