I'm always a little tired of gardening by this time of year but I think fall is better than spring for some veggies. I've only planted turnips (from seed) and have a few potato plants and that's it. I planted some of my turnips in containers and some in the ground but only the ones in the ground are doing well. I should transplant the others. Lesson learned.

I was impressed with Nixa Hardware's plants this spring. I wonder if they have fall starts.
Did Steinert's have a pretty good assortment?
