I planted a plant this spring it said "mexican heather" but according to the net is may or may not be. woody type stems with the leaves direct across from each other and tiny purple flowers.

any way I was wondering if any of you were growing this and if it was something that I could leave in the ground, or needed to dig up? If you dig this up do you keep indoors for winter or store in basement?

I have seen this plant around, but have never grown it. Since you have had success with it I may try it. It looks very tidy and is a pretty purple color.

bonnie- i think you need to treat it as an annual. if you bring it inside, requires a lot of light.

thanks. was afraid of that.
When I bought it I thought it would be a nice bed plant.
After I got it home and looked it up was afraid it might not be hardy here, zone 6.
Oh well can't have everything.
