 o
a sprinkle, .3 inch

This little bit of rain did more than all my watering. When everything is dry as a bone you just can't get it all watered properly. I let some of my flowers in pots get too dry; busy last weekend they suffered. I pulled some up also that purple petunia that I cut back and was waiting for rejuvenation. My friend loaded my little truck with 3 loads of barnyard manure so I am rich.

I was worried that all the rain was going to go north of me and miss my house then somehow it managed to take a turn and go south of me instead. : ( I barely got enough to cover the bottom of my rain gauge but I guess that's better than nothing.
We could use some rain. It's starting to get a little dusty here. I have a few watermelons that are almost ripe and they're supposed to have a better flavor if they're NOT watered before you pick them so they should be good.

I'm not too sure how much we got here.
Heard it rain a little early a.m. woke me.
Then I rained again later in the a.m.
I have a little bit of mud down by the dog run.
Plants sure did perk up.

Nothing here.

It's cloudy here again, with dark sly.
The break in the sun is goo for the plants.
Won't need to water again so soon.

I am siphoning my pond again. The frogs will have to come to my yard to live.

We got enough so I did not have to water. I was in Little Rock shopping, so I was happy to see that it had rained when I got home. Cheaper water bill.
