I'm not sure, and there are many who still grow tomatoes that will help I'm sure.
But it sounds like bacterial disease.
You didn't say. Are your plants looking any different? or just the fruit?

Stink bugs cause white spots too. I have never had so much trouble with stink bugs before.

Thanks to all of you, Bonnie the plants have looked good all summer and this was in the tomatoes from the beginning. It is just under the skin, a hard white thing, it is in the peppers, some cukes, etc. I cut them out of two batches of tomatoes that I canned, now I'm not sure if I should can them or not. Thanks again and I'm going to look at those sites you all gave me.
