It is pouring down rain here this morning.
We needed it. I went to dig in the soil to plant some viola an it was hard an dry.
I should have checked sooner. With these cool days I forgot about it.
Been too busy trying to paint the ceilings an walls in the bath an my room. Grrrrr ceilings are way too much for me.
I will need more vacation time to rest when I done.

Bonnie, I don't envy you the ceiling painting.....but do envy the rain!

It has missed us again.

We were starting to need rain too. We got a nice shower but could use a little more. If we get a good soaking rain, I think I'll be able to put up the garden hoses until next spring.
That's no fun to paint ceilings. Your arms will be tired.

It rained most of the night here, and continues this morning. I love it!

Marian, send some my way. At least it is nice and cool. I do love this kind of weather.

We got a much needed 1.5" last evening. So thankful as we were beginning to need some rain. Fell pretty hard at times but didn't seem to wash too much.

I don't care to paint-been helping to paint the rent house-glad it is done!!

We had a 'gullywasher' last night. Our two day total was 3 inches. Really appreciated, but it did some damage to our unpaved roads. Today is warmer, and muggy.
