Another Native Wilfflower

I think I have this one correct as aster pilosus, white heath aster, a Mo. native.

Bloom stalk/branch of white heath aster

White heath aster, closer view of blooms

White heath aster, single 3/4 inch bloom

Aster, native white heath aster, aster pilosus

I let this one stay in the end of the hummingbird bed, but cut it down from the front ditch. I should have reversed that!

I usually let it grow. It is kind of nice, but sprawls and is not real showy. This time of year it is good to enjoy the wildflowers.
