| I think so, and the habitat is right. It grows in wet ditches here. Also called tickseed sunflower, because of the way the seeds cling to clothes and fur. Walk through the middle of a patch after the seeds mature and you'll spend an hour or two pulling them off. |

| It looks like coreopsis, but I can't really tell. I know I have bidens somewhere because I get beggars ticks on my socks but I don't remember seeing the showy flower. I think the cultivated bidens is pretty. |
