The forecast keeps getting colder

Earlier this week, it looked like we might be safe from frost for awhile but NOAA now says 31 for tomorrow night.

Are you going to cover anything?

My Dahlias have recovered from the heat, and blooming beautiful, but I think I'll let the frost take them, because directions say to wait 2 weeks after frost to dig them. This would put me well into November for digging.
I move my herbs to shelter, if they arent hardy.

I am picking tomatoes and pulling up vines today. Ceresone pick a huge bouquet for me please.

The only thing I want to cover is my lettuce patch. Hopefully, we can do that this afternoon.

Ceresone, I don't dig up my dahlias. I have some nice rebloom too but just have the two varieties so they will just take their chances.

I have some pots I will cover with straw up next to the chicken house and that is it.
