I don't think I will bring in anything, but may change my mind.

brrrr - Did anyone else stay inside yesterday? It stayed cold all day. I don't think I'm ready for winter. lol

I still haven't repotted my jasmine sambac or my honeysuckle fuschia so I'm going to have to make a trip to Walmart this weekend and get some potting soil. Right now it looks like Monday night will be the coldest. They're saying 30 degrees for us.

I stayed in as well on friday.
I have gotten the last of my plant dug today that come into the house.
I now have to get the ones that go into the garage and also the ones that need tobe moved.
I thought I was sad to have to cut down my EE's today.
I figured I better do it while I was out there. Before the frost get them and I have all that slime.
I am not ready for winter. I don't like the cold.
Makes my hands and knees hurt, as well as I have always had a problem with seasonal depression.
I always make a very tiny joke about it w/ Dr. Wow let's see there are 6-7 months of dreary weather and oh, 5-6 of great sun shine.
He really isn't the "joke" kind, just smiles and says "you could live where is is dark more".
that's not a joke I told him!!!

Years ago I worked in a run down greenhouse for fun mostly and very low wages. I started in Jan. I worked all day in the sun and even on cloudy days it was fairly bright in there. It was so pleasant; I felt like I skipped winter that year. It really lifts your spirits to be in the warm sun when it is cold outside. I think if I had SAD (seasonal affective disorder) that I would try to add a sun room to my house or at least a big glass door or window to sit near. I knew someone well who suffered from that and he started getting blue and sleeping alot around Thanksgiving time and didn't feel better until spring. Everyone feels a little down in dreary weather but some really suffer.
